WEBSITE TRANSFORMATIONS
Your Business Has Grown. Has Your Website?
If your website looks dated, no longer represents the quality of your work, or has simply been neglected for a few years, you don't necessarily have to start again.
A transformation keeps what's worth keeping and rebuilds the rest into something modern, professional and far easier for your customers to use.
Individually quoted — scoped and fixed quoted before we start
Signs It's Time
Most transformations start with one of these.
It Looks Dated
The design is years behind your competitors and no longer reflects the quality of your work.
It Struggles on Mobile
It was built before phones mattered as much as they do now, and it shows.
The Content Has Drifted
You offer different services, work in different areas, or say it far better in person than the site does.
Nobody Can Find Anything
Too many pages, unclear menus, and no obvious path to getting in touch.
Keep, Improve, Consolidate, Create
Transformation doesn't mean changing everything. If something works, we can keep it.
The goal isn't to make your website different. The goal is to make it better.
Keep
What's working and worth preserving?
Improve
What has value but needs updating, redesigning or reorganising?
Remove or Consolidate
What's obsolete, duplicated or getting in the way?
Create
What's missing that customers actually need?
What's Involved
Included in a Transformation
- Modern design refresh using your existing brand
- Rebuilt page layouts that work properly on phones
- Clearer navigation and page structure
- Reasonable editing and restructuring of your existing content
- Stronger, more obvious calls-to-action
- Image optimisation and speed improvements
- SEO foundations carried across thoughtfully
- Contact and enquiry forms checked before launch
- Existing pages kept, merged or retired on purpose
- Two structured revision rounds
- A handover so you can update it yourself
- 30 days of post-launch support for our transformation work
What We Carry Across
- Your existing content is reused wherever it still works
- Existing domains and important business services are considered as part of the transition, and changes are planned carefully to minimise unnecessary disruption
- Useful URLs, content and page structure are considered carefully, with redirects used where URLs need to change
- Your platform can stay the same unless there's a good reason to move
A transformation should feel like an upgrade, not a disruption.
How It Works
1
Review
We go through your current site and work out what to keep, improve, consolidate or create.
2
Plan
You get a clear scope: which pages change, what the new structure is, and the fixed price.
3
Transform & Review
We carry out the agreed transformation and present the main build for your review. Two structured revision rounds are included.
4
Launch & Hand Over
We check the agreed pages and functionality, prepare the site for launch and complete the handover.
How Payment Works
Fixed price, agreed before we start, split into three simple stages.
50%
Project booking
25%
Main transformation ready for review
25%
Before launch or handover
No hourly billing surprises. If the scope changes, we quote it separately first.
Two Structured Revision Rounds
Two structured revision rounds are included. Corrections to our own mistakes don’t count as a revision round.
It helps enormously if you gather feedback from everyone involved before sending each revision list.
30 Days of Post-Launch Support
After launch you get 30 days of support for issues relating to our transformation work.
New pages, features, content additions or additional design changes are separate work. If you’d like ongoing help, a Website Care plan picks up where that leaves off.
Your Existing Search Value
Your existing search value is considered carefully. We look at useful URLs, existing content and page structure when planning the transformation, and use redirects where URLs need to change.
No responsible web company can guarantee search rankings. We can’t guarantee that rankings won’t change — but we won’t blindly discard useful website history either.
Content & Copywriting
Reasonable editing, restructuring and improvement of your existing website content may be included within the agreed transformation scope.
Substantial new copy, extensive research or pages written from scratch are separately scoped and quoted.
Transformation or New Website?
If the bones of your site are sound and the content is broadly right, a transformation is usually better value. If the structure, content and design all need replacing, a new build is cleaner and often cheaper.

Domains, Hosting & Email
Existing domains and important business services are considered as part of the transition, and changes are planned carefully to minimise unnecessary disruption.
Wherever practical, your domain, hosting and important business accounts stay in your ownership.
Common Questions
How is a transformation different from a new website?
A transformation keeps what already works — your platform, your content, your existing search value — and rebuilds the parts that are letting you down. A new website starts from a blank page. If more than about half your site needs replacing, a new build is often better value.
How much does a transformation cost?
Every transformation is individually scoped and fixed quoted, once we've seen the site and agreed what's involved. There's no standard starting price, because the amount of work varies enormously.
How does payment work?
50% to book the project in, 25% when the main transformation is ready for your review, and 25% before launch or handover.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
No responsible web company can guarantee search rankings. We can't guarantee rankings won't change, but we won't blindly discard useful website history — we consider your existing URLs, content and page structure when planning the work, and use redirects where URLs need to change.
How many revisions do I get?
Two structured revision rounds are included. Corrections to our own mistakes don't count as a revision round. It helps if you gather feedback from everyone involved before submitting each revision list.
Do you rewrite all my content?
Reasonable editing, restructuring and improvement of your existing website content can be included within the agreed scope. Substantial new copy, extensive research or pages written from scratch are scoped and quoted separately.
Do I need new photos or a new logo?
No. We work with your existing brand and imagery. If your photos are the weak point we'll say so, and suggest simple options rather than pushing a full rebrand.
How long does it take?
Most transformations run over a few weeks, and the biggest variable is how quickly content and feedback come back from your side. We'll give you a realistic timeframe with the quote.
Will my website be down during the work?
We plan the switch-over carefully to avoid unnecessary disruption. Your current site normally stays live while we build, and we only change over once you've approved the new version.
Can you transform a Wix site?
Yes. We work with both Wix and WordPress, and we'll tell you honestly if staying on your current platform will limit what's possible.
What happens after it goes live?
30 days of post-launch support is included for issues relating to our transformation work. New pages, features, content additions or additional design changes are separate work. After that, you can look after it yourself with the handover we provide, or put it on a Website Care plan.
Let's Bring It Up to Standard.
Send us your website address and tell us what's bothering you. We'll tell you honestly whether a transformation is the right call.
